Ramair install

Installed the ram air intake kit, but the back edge of the intake rubs on the bear claw.I checked to be sure it was seated all the way down on the throttle bodies.I'm thinking that it will eventually wear a hole through the foam, thinking about modifying the bear claw. Has anyone else had this issue?

I have a RamAir and it doesn't appear to touch the bearclaw. When I refer my bearclaw I put the securing bolts in so that they're just in the threads and then, holding the bottom of the bearclaw in the middle, pivot it up so that the rubber isolator fits into the two tangs on the tank. As I tighten thup boots are pull the bottom of the bearclaw out and up.

The position of the bearclaw is also adjustable to a small degree by adjusting the brackets into which the fixing bolts attach.
