Some Final Observations
Since I got back home I have been going like a madman. Cleaning up tree limbs from Hanna, cleaning the Fat Bottom Girl, and catching up on honey do's. This is the first chance I have had to do a follow up post. Here are some final observations concerning ES and RAA111.
1. People who had rooms at the Fly Rod Inn should be able to climb Mt. Everest without oxygen. Talk about sitting on a hilltop.
2. You can come back over a mountain faster than when you went over. When Piano lead the pack over the Pig Trail it was nice and leisurely. I even saw some of the scenery. Pigger was lead when a few of us returned and I got to watch my own Darkside in action on several of the switch backs.
3. Rockets don't like bungee cords.
4. According to Flip Eureka Springs is the gay and lesbian capital of the Free World. So far I am still hanging to the straight side and I think I am safe because I didn't consume allot of ES water if that causes the problem.
5. When stopping a Rocket, made sure there is earth under both feet before dropping the kick stand.
6. The owner of the Restaurant who serves the big breakfast biscuits should really consider obtaining a new barber.
7. If you secure a trailer with a pad lock you do need a key in your possession to gain entry.
There are many more great memories and I am sure some others can be added. Ladies and Gentlemen I had great time and enjoyed meeting everyone. See "yall" next year. Funny I didn't hear Dave or Tony use that expression once.
