I've read a lot of the input and opinions from those who have gone to different rear tires than the Metz...I guess I have missed comments about breaking and I mean breaking hard...I'm still in the waiting mode (till I wear out my new rear Metz) and I think a turning point for me is some positive hard breaking feedback...

For me, being a lightweight, hard braking and locking the rear makes the rear skip instead of slide. Little more disconcerting than a slide but neither are any good. Other guys haven't reported this so I guess a few extra pounds helps sometimes. :D

If we're not talking about panic stops though, it's like the guys said - braking is more solid and secure than the Metzeler especially in wet conditions.
