If you tried to video cops like that over here you would be arrested, or as was the case in Maryland a little while back, shot.

I don't understand this comment, as we see cops in phone videos down here pretty regularly, and some have had disciplinary action, including firing, as a result.

If they're doing their job properly; they have no reason to dislike being videoed. And, if one gets out of sorts with me; I'll guarandam#tee that he'll be videoed.

I have no problems with LEO's, and will pull over to back a lone officer up if needed in a heartbeat; but the bad ones need to be exposed, and weeded out.

Yes I do believe they already are. I still can't believe they can't tell the difference between a patch holder and Joe Blogs. If the bloke fueling up his bike on the clip was a patch holder under Newmans new laws he wasn't committing any offence anyway. A patch holder is allowed to ride around on his own or with one other accossiate .

Apparently in Maryland you can't have audio recorded without their permission. As just about all video now has audio with it, the basic result is no video.

I'm sure the ratio of DICKHEAD coppers is close to the same both in OZ and the US.
Also that ratio is likely close to the same as among motor riders.
