Tried to ride to work today and things did not work out. Get the bike up to around 70 and hit the gas all that moves is the tachometer. 38,000 miles and the clutch is shot? 3,000 rpm's and hit the gas it slips. Anything else that can cause this? Clutch cable is adjusted correctly. Noticed it the last time i rode and made adjustments. This time twice as bad. Any feed back appreciated.

WOW!
I don't think Sonny digs & hammers, so I be very surprised! NOT TRUE!
Perhaps his clutch was out of adjustment for a long period and wore out?
I be not so baffled, but also NO expert!
Best of fortune with this, Sonny.
EDIT:
Youse got until May!!!

Am a nut about maintenance. Yes I do.
Sure sounds like a new clutch is in order, try going along at about 40mph in fifth gear and open the throttle up if it slips time for a new clutch.
Did that and it slips like a son of a Bithc. Thank you

Not. Beauty of the Viking exhaust and Hanso's tune. May not know a lot about twisty turns but do no how to get it in a straight line. You play you pay. #hit
