Just mounted my 225/55ZR/16 Riken Raptor today and I am pretty impressed with it so far (did about 60 miles today). The streets in this town are pretty crappy, lots of ruts, grooves and crowns and it does throw the bike around a bit but it is not as bad as I expected. Cornering is still good, which was my main concern since I like to ride fairly hard. With the wider bars I installed and the fact that I already have Popeye's forearms the extra effort to turn it is no big deal.
 
Don't know if I will ever go darkside or not but that is a great looking tire, hope it works well for you.

First, good looking bike. The CT adds to the stance. The wife and I used to visit the York, Lancaster, and Adamstown area of your fair State frequently. It has some beautiful areas, but I have to agree with you about the roads, particularly around York. You could loose a tank in some of the road trenches caused by the truck traffic.

What air pressure you running so far?
I started out on my Raptor with 35.
dropped it down to 30 and its been easy cruisin ever since.

I did get it at L&M, thanks for the advice on that one Jim. I'll stop in at Jefferson Saturday afternoon and be down there Sunday morning. Saturday I will be doing a memorial ride for my cousin who got killed on his bike in 2002, I do it every year. Sunday afternoon I will be going to Westminster to the Carrol County Bike Fest. I do plan on going to Lawn this month. I did stop by the shop on Monday but no one was there, I'll try to stop in this week.

After much research on here I went with 30psi.
