anyone recommend a cheap ob11 that reads engine temp.. this is all i need it for.. kragen, autozone, pepboys walmat etc.. dont have time to ebay one. need it for sunday

You know you should be able to check it real time with Tuneboy diagnostics.

thanks brian.. forgot about habor freight.. this will be taped to the bars and i need one for turbofans bike too. we'll do some load testing in the hills around his house and on the freeways.

Harbor Freight carries one for ~$119 that will log and display on a PC.
If you just need to display temp, TP, etc., then pick up one of the cheaper ones.

Usually, Walmarts carry them in the Automotive section as well.

Scan Gauge

The Scan Gauge II works great, use it in several different vehicles including 2007 Rocket III when on the dyno I set it up to report water temperature.
