Hey guys,

If i disconnect the O2 sensor and don't have an eliminator and disable it in the map I load to the bike, is there any detrimental effects that I can cause doing this other than having the engine error light up on the tacho?

Does PCV come with an eliminator, as i've heard PCIII does?

Cheers Dean.

Can I ask why you would do that ? as far as I know it is closed loop and adjusts AFR for idle speed.

Your ECU self test will give an error because it reads an O2S open circuit without the eliminator to fool it.

As far as I remember my PCv has an O2 sensor eliminator and you plug the hole from memory.

Well, it was mainly just a thought. I found out the hard way that it may have caused my ECU to **** itself - have made a more appropriately named thread about that story though :(
