Nothing wrong with a bone stock Rocket, my 05 is still bone stock after 7 1/2 years of ownership......well...except for the gipro, but I don't consider that a mod, just something that returns what was stolen at the factory.
Still got those Mickey Mouse ear mirrors I see. Ovals or teardrops widen your field of (rear) view and are much safer in traffic. So is a louder horn.
Dual touring seat has a very comfortable pillion pad and are pretty cheap just now. I tried the gel pad too but my son hated it, although not as much as the original "brick" pad which is a disgrace.
So, are you sick of trying to change up from 5th yet.....??
If this keeps up you'll have a good case for 'Funplace bullying' at our RDU one of the bikes that really caught my eye was a dead stock example of the model i've got. Looked really nice ... reminded me of the day i first laid eyes on 'my' Rocket ... it arrived in Darwin on 6th January 2009 .. my birthday .
Rhode,
I was re-reading the thread since it's been awhile.
You said a more comfortable passenger seat right?
I bought a wide body passenger seat from a suzuki boulevard off e-bay.
took the little sliver of a passenger seat off the Rocket and pop riveted the pan of the boulevard to the mount off the oem seat.
It fits around the back curve of the solo seat just like it was made for it.
My daughters love it now.
Plus it don't look bad.

Don't remember the year, sorry,
but I'll go take a pic of both and post here.
I'll have to dig them both out as that's not the seat I'm using right now.
Yes that's a necessary upgrade. I'm still wrestling with that. Triumph has reduced the price of the Classic seat .. have here in Australia anyway. I've got both the Roadster Gel seat and the Classic. Classic is way more comfortable for both rider and passenger.
