Summer rain? What's that? I know, I know, move to Queensland. ;)
We get cold and wet, which to some extent I prefer because of the gear I have. Not a fan of wearing rain gear when it's hot and it's quite satisfying actually being warm and dry on the bike even though it's sleeting.

Im not a hardcore rider , Friday and Sat took the XR6 Turbo to work , people at work kept having digs " oh wheres ya bike " comebacks like " where do you think ****head " were thick and fast.........

What! They didn't say anything about you driving a Ford?

no ride for me today either.took my grandson to an antique tractor pull this morning had breakfast, came home took a nap with him, then went to park met up with family friends and had a great birthday party AnDre turns 3 years old.more polite sharing, grown up kid than most adults I know

Riding in the rain isn't an issue with me, its the retards in cars that panic when they see two drops of rain on the screen and slow down in the right lane and ignore all around them as they are too busy panicking and dealing with their huge issue of OMG, it's wet.

I reckon the car drivers that seem to f#ckin speed up on wet roads are more of a worry. I don't like riding in the rain (especially the cold and wet combination) .. but I do it out of necessity more than being a 'hardcore rider' .. guess I could always buy myself an old ute .............. have done that half a dozen times , things just sit there and don't get driven .. end up just selling them.

Methinks it is not a ridey day today. Time to give the shiny bits a buffing.
