Maybe change the header to Rocket III std/roadster because some one WILL ask?
Good job BTW

Well the Rocket's been around for 10 years and it's a pretty safe bet that there's been one or two discussions about tyres. There's only 3 to choose from, unless you're going to try a wheel barrow tyre or something equally ridiculous. Some days I'll spell it all out for the umpteenth time and other days I take the same stance as the questioner ie can't be bothered. Sorry.

Want to discuss Wallaby's and Roo's and other stuff down under for us Yanks ? ;)

Sadly true, the G701 is "H" rated (130 mph) compared to the Max's "Z" now noted as "V" (149 mph) for speed; however, 130 mph ain't bad.
The 72 (782 pounds) versus the 86 (1168 pounds) load ratings are moot IMHO.
I ran the G701 for about 4000 miles and can firmly say it sux!!!! Amazing what happens when you swap it out for a old cobra you had laying around. Like night and day.

Good to know, Amigo.
I haven't tried a G701 one as I use 140s on the front.
So far on the front:
Metzeler OEM, Michelin CommanderII, Dunlop D251, Avon Cobra & just about ready for Avon Azaro
So far on the rear:
Metzeler OEM, Bridgestone Excedra Max X 4 &
just about ready for another
