First impressions and some comparisons with my 07 R3 Standard.
More Umph! . Even with a tight new engine I can feel the extra torques lurking there.
I think the more conventional foot-peg position is more comfortable than the fwd controls, although it will take me a few km to get used to it.
Gearbox seems smoother and shifts are far lighter. Very nice.
Far too quiet!! Exhaust needs some work, and those trumpet silencers are not to my taste at all.
Seat feels more comfortable than when I tried it out in the showroom last week. Only a long ride will clarify this. The old Rocket's seat was very comfy.
Levers are a bit too far away from my fingers, even on the smallest setting. May need to do something about this.
