Rocket III Roadster 2014
First proper posting, hopefully the photo's make it through.

Decided that the Roadster needed a makeover so here we go. First decision was whether to paint the original tins or buy a new set so that I could continue riding during the project. Checked the spares websites and new ones would require me selling a kidney and my first born to pay for them. Next up was Ebay where I struck lucky. Complete set of tins plus a flyscreen and the front emblem all for less than the price of the two mudguards from the stealers. Delivered quickly and all in really good condition structurally on first inspection. First job will be to get everything flattened, filled or repaired where necessary (never know what is lurking under the paintwork) then get it in primer. Not sure exactly what paintscheme I'm going for just yet.

Look's Awesome, Keep me posted. I have all my tin off right now as well. I'm replacing the tank badges with a painted logo, and switching from cardinal red to a Emerald green that flops almost black in the shade. I'll post some pictures once I get my tin back at the end of this week.

So what is on it now? I just switched to OEM Triumph Red Stripe tins and Flyscreen on my 2010 Roadster and am putting together a set or Orange Lucifer Tribal set. The Tribal decal sets are available in the EU for about half what they are in the USA. In any colour you like too! Tribal Rockets came in at least 4 factory versions - a Blue, Black, Red and Orange.

How many members have Tribal Orange tins?

This is the same color that is on the bike right now. I don't have any pic's on the computer of my bike ATM. I'm not going to put any graphics on the bike, I like the clean smooth look, thats why I'm replacing the tank badges and painting the Triumph logo on each side. The other thing i decided to do while painting the bike, was to paint the bear claw to match the rest of the tin. I had an extra one so i figured it might look nice. Down the road i may paint the radiator shrouds as well, have not made up my mind yet o_O
