I have Kury grips on my Rkt with Valk bars. They've always been tight (throttle doesn't work freely) but recently it just plain sticks. I don't need a throttle lock!
Today took it apart. With the Kury grip off it works fine. The Kury grip is very tight and when I start puting it on it colapses the throttle housing and makes it tight. When the grip is on about 1 1/2" the throttle sticks.

Any suggestions from Kury users?
Thanks!

No problems so far with mine. Is that the Triumph throttle?did you grind to much to get the nubbies off? If it's the Kury setup for Honda I don't know what could be causing that, You sure it's not a throttle cable hanging up somewhere?

No..it's definately the tightnes of the Kury. I put these on maybe a year ago and had to grind down the nubbies. The Kurys are the Universals...they didn't have a "Rocket" Kury at the time. Maybe getting the Kurys that have the throttle housing with them is the way to go.

Hey there neighbor (I'm in Duluth, GA)! I did the very same thing and used the Metric versions and had to modify the throttle by grinding down the nubs and then some! Mine hung up and I had to go back and grind more because the "compression" of the throttle part that surrounds the handlebar mounting system that is where all the friction is.

I grinded more off...then made sure I had plenty of lubrication between the throttle and sleeve where all the friction was taking place.. and it worked like a charm! No more problems!
