New Avon Cobra Chrome - any good

@Tattoomick We have now likely both covered about the same distance since fitting Chromes - I am running 150/80 Front profile at 40PSI Front and 42PSI Rear, my rear spring is set at position 5 with my weight at 83kg. I like yourself am really pleased with the performance of the chromes - so much better than the older cobras - not that there was anything wrong with them either. I will go for a 140/75 front next time around but I really want to upgrade the front suspension before I get there and will likely put some better shocks on the rear at the same time. I certainly appreciate the feedback and it validates my own thoughts on the chromes.

Thanks for the feedback.

Yes John miller the smaller front tyre does allow you to go into them Twisties much quicker. But you are correct the first thing I noticed when I put the smaller front tyre on was just how bad the front suspension really is. My next upgrade on the bike is suspension front and rear for sure.

Just mounted my new Cobra Chrome 140/75 front last night with all new stoppers. will be out this evening bedding in the stoppers, scrubbing the tire & see how sweet it is!

Wow, $427 for a set for the Touring, pretty steep.
