I have a 2014 R3T. I just converted it to a trike. The wife rides also. Problem is that the lever setup for the T is set to far out for her hands. She has to take her hand off the handle bars to get at the levers. I have tried every source. No adjustable levers for the "T"s. Lots for the Roadster. The R levers will not fit in the T's. I need to use the R lever mounts on the trike. Would appreciate the help.

Yep, different setups as you say from dual headlight Roadster or earlier Stds and Classics hand levers but R3T has the same front brake reservoir / master cylinder set up as the Thunderbird, so a Thunderbird may have adjustable levers... I have never checked but got a Thunderbird front brake reservoir/ mc for my project R3T.

I have not looked at the Thunderbird clutch side to see how it compares to R3T version.

I have some NOS sets of chunkier chrome accessory R3T levers but not sure if they would assist your wife.

Thanks but I do not think they will work. Same problem , setting to far from the handle bar.

Yep, same part numbers for the stock versions of the Thunderbird and R3T's RH hand brake lever and master cylinder etc.

You would likely need the R3T length hoses and cables which may have very different fittings etc.
Biggest issue could be ergonomic compatibility of control positions and switchgear.
