My Rocket turning into a Harley ,,,,,,help,,,,

Fuel pump Assembly. The filter has the arrow on it....
and the fuel level sender unit is in between the pump and filter with the float arm going to the front - so you MUST be a little careful with the float. Get the unit lose and ease it out a little then LOOK for the float the just bring them both out together with a bit of a twist and wiggle and holding your tongue in the right place. You will be alright--- If I can do this you are all over it..... like a fat kid on chocolate cake.o_O

Don't pay $52 for the triumph filter. They are made in Germany the same company that makes the Mahle KL 145. Shop a little and you can find it for as little as $15.

It all started while i was "standing on the corner in Winslow Arizona", i noticed the rocket was loosing power and at a point it wouldn't even idle right, idle droped to about 400rpm, at 70mph it would not accelerate worth a darn, engine revs fine but no torque, i did some comparisons at lower speeds and different rpms and i found out that on 5th gear at 3000 rpm when i crank it only noise comes out of the mufflers but no power, at lower speeds and higher rpm it does it also, sometimes it accelerates normal but 70 per cent of the time it just floats, i can get to 120mph but i have to take my time,,,,feels like only 1/8th of the trothle delivers power and the rest delivers just noise...no funny engine noises, no check engine lights, Hans adjusted the tune and that helped a little but it is far from normal, any ideas????

HA HA HA, Hanso got you with the ole' "rubber throttle cable" trick

Seriously, there have been some good suggestions. I'm betting on TPS or fuel delivery (plugged filter, weak pump).
