So did you buy it on ebay or use paypal to pay for it? If so, you can open a case with paypal and hopefully get your money back. My experience with buying stuff on ebay has taught me one thing - if anything goes wrong - take your case to paypal. Ebay reps won't do much for you - but paypal will.

If you used a credit card or debit card...you should be able to contact your bank, show them your documentation (recieipts, emails, etc) and hopefully get your money back.

IMO, this guy is a lying, rude, non-responding, straight up con artist. It matters none to me if a few people have had success with him and his junk...if he has completely screwed even one person over...to me he is a total jerk.

Yes, I opened a dispute with my bank. I'll update status here once it is completely settled.

It just sucks that you have been dealing with this ripoff since May and here it is August and you are having to still go through more BS - and all the while he has your hard earned money - but he couldn't care less.

With shipping and all mine cost nearly $400.00 US, and I had to dish out over $110.00 US to ship it back. That whole ordeal took nearly 4 months.

It's best not to ask what I would do if I ever met Mike (the owner of maverick customs) in person....lol

I received a full credit on my card after my bank got involved in the dispute.
I never heard from anyone at Maverick again.

I thought those pics made the seat look like spray painted silly putty, sloppy lines that didn't match the bike. Corbin is expensive and hard but, my experience was positive so i'll add them to our options. I called on a sunday and ordered a dual tour with rider backrest and asked if they offered options for vertically challenged and the rep said custom was another $100.00 but they added foam to the lumbar area bringing the seat foreward another 1". and it would take a bit longer to get than an "off the shelf item". I didn't want the hassle of tracking down a 2nd seat for RDLong and I also have a local guy but again, I don't have a spare seat so corbin worked for me and everything went like the rep said it would. i'm happy with corbin.
