OK so if you did not follow the instalation procedure then when you turn the bike on an deverything went thru the motions you secondary stepper motor might have over rotated breaking a tab in the secondary TPS sensor. Like the picture below new on right old on left.

Clearly some tabs are gone. This is @Jabo75 picture I grabbed from his thread.

Right now I would say you should pull the secondary for inspection of the tabs and with a small tool see if it has any internal spring tension on the rotating tabs. If any of the two things are a problem I would say a new secondary TPS is in order and needs to be installed per the manual. Well with the exception of removing the throttle bodies I bet it can be done with them on.

But if my secondaries are removed would this have any impact on my bike in the first place?

Mine looks more like the one on the right...I did look at it yesterday...But I will check now, take pics and report back. I think a small flathead would do the trick to check and see if it's rotating...

I guess I'm just confused since my secondaries are removed if this would impact my bike at all...does the secondary tps matter at all if secondaries are removed?

After reading Jabo's thread i'm almost certain my primary tps is bad...im going to bite the bullet and buy one today I think. I will also make sure I didn't screw up my secondary tps BUT I am still uncertain if that would impact anything as my secondaries are removed.

Ok So you remove the secondaries for air flow which is probably a little more then opening them to 100%. So whether you have them in or not the secondary stepper motor goes thru its start cycle reporting the voltage to the ecu In every gear the secondary throttle motor and shaft rotate to what ever position they are programmed to in the map except neutral they are closed If the secondary TPS is not set right and the shaft over rotates or under rotates Forcefully trying to reach that closing voltage but has problems and a code pops up P0223 for high voltage error and P0222 if it has a low voltage error and the worse P0638 which can either be a secondary throttle actuator wiring fault.
So To answer your question is the ecu uses the voltage movement points (and yours are out of wack) and the position of the secondary shaft via the secondary Throttle position sensor whether their are secondary plates of not.

Spring works perfect. Just tested it inside and outside the bike. I do think I installed wrong though. After looking at the proper install you posted I know it's in correctly now. Hooking up tune ecu to check voltage now.

Still not getting any change in voltage by moving my secobdary tps. I know it's installed correctly now.

You opened the secondary's or simulated by reaching down in there and rotated the secondary shaft so the butterflies were opened completely before you inserted the Secondary TPS in the dotted line position as per the manual then while holding the secondaries open you rotated it to the position when the bolt would go in?
Just checking s I think this operation is where it winds or unwinds the spring inside it.

Yes. I put the secondary tps on correctly and by hand where my secondary plates used to be rotated it fully open. Let go and the spring inside the secondary tps seemed to work as it sprung back fully closed.

Once I turned on the key I could not turn that piece by hand anymore and anytime I touched the secondary tps it would buzz for a moment and then stop buzzing. No change in Volts no matter what I did.
