Let the frustration begin!!!! grrrrr

Pretty sure he tuned it manually

It's stumbling around 3-4k rpms when I roll on the throttle lightly. It hesitates and then runs perfect. WOT is perfect. It's only at 20/30 percent throttle I'm getting the problem. 2nd and 3rd gear are the worst it seems at that rpm.

The tune will stay in the PC v. If you start the bike with the PC v earth disconnected the PC v is toast. Do not do that. Maybe try and notice the rpm and gear/situation where the stumble is, also if it is worse hot or cold. Did the guy use the tuning link/c3 software or tune manually?
Thanks Nev I just got one in my bike I will have to commit that to memory. Is it the same for the PCIII?

20/30 % is a pretty decent twist on a R3. I find tuning it manually is way better. It may well be a minor fuelling adjustment needed, as you say it hesitates THEN RUNS PERFECT. If the guy has not done a stack of rockets there are ( like any bike ) some individual quirks which may not be apparent on a normal tune. I am tipping that it is too rich at low load situations. So if it is worse when hot/warmed up fully, that will be an indicator. Good luck, at least they are not fobbing you off. Who has never made a small error in their job?

Thanks gang...I appreciate all the help! I wish my tuner was this helpful!

Anyways, he can't get me in until next week and judging by what he did this time I am feeling like I should try a few things before I go back to him. Here are my thoughts...

1. Save my current PC5 tune and try one of the tunes available off the power commander website seen at the link below...

Power Commander Motorcycle Fuel Injection Tuning Module 111&year=2015&mk=37&mdl=147&yr=2834

With my mods what tune would make the most sense. My mods are; Ramair, TORs, secondaries removed. Would Capenter Sidewinder Exhaust with Ramair be best (tune 21-003-10)? Or would you pick tune 21-003-005?

I could try several tunes off there website that I would consider close to my mods and see how she runs then...

2. Disconnect the PC5 the right way, and load HansO updated tune that he sent me. My question is, what would be the right way to disconnect? I am thinking that I should fully disconnect it (ground cable and harness connectors) but leave it mounted (as they did mount it nicely and neatly).

3. Would posting my current PC5 map that they made me, help anyone in here see any issues?

Thoughts?

20/30% - Nev will know better - but that could be to do with F/L switch values in the ECU. I have just altered mine to "see for myself". Smoother in that border area.

UPDATE...

I came home from work and loaded a tune off the PC5 website (tune 21-003-006). I felt that it was close to my current mod list.

Rode the bike for a bit and even though it's not as smooth now IT DID NOT STUMBLE AT ALL! So now i'm fairly certain it's something in the custom tune from the shop but keep reading...

So I cam home and just for the hell of it loaded the custom tune with the stumbling and went for another ride...the stumbling is now nearly gone and it only did it to to slightest degree twice on a 20 minute ride...much much better than previously mentioned...so now I'm stumped!

The only thing I have changed is the gas...could it possibly be I got bad gas??? Would this have caused my issues?

Thinking back now I realize when I initially picked the bike up it ran incredible...I parked it and the next day I filled her up...it was on that tank that I started experiencing the stumble...When I picked her up the second time with the minor adjustments made to the tune my gas light came on on the way home...so I filled it up again at a different station...it still did the stumble on the way home from the station BUT I had a gallon or two left of the previous gas still...could it be that I am finally getting rid of the bad fuel and it is slowly getting better??

ahhhhhhh....lol...I think my brain will explode soon! ha...let me know your thoughts! thanks again!
