I'm no guru as these are my first set of highway pegs. The ones I purchased in a post above allows for the foot pegs to be mounted forward of the crash bars for taller fellas. This way you won't have to lift them too high. Not overly light but I do not find any flex to the crash bars when I push on them, seem to work well. They came as a kit so I did not have to purchase all the separate parts

Much like my #7933s. From the inside of the "S" bar to the end of the peg they are 2 inches too long.
RKTNMYPKT photo in post #3 of the Triumph pegs are the same - too long. I want the peg to mount directly into the "S" bar.
Like a "L" bar with mount hole at the bottom.

Bull, I have the Triumph Highway Pegs and did away with the 'S' mount because I didn't like the way the pegs were out so wide. You can turn the mounting clamp to have the pegs in front or behind the crash bars and fine tune for reach by adjusting the height. I've never had them scrape. There's plenty of pics in my gallery where you can see them. Here's one showing how they fit me - I'm a tad under 5'11" (on my way to RDU at Hervey Bay last year. I'd hurt my finger and was showing it to the photographer. ;))

I also have the Kuryakyn pegs but fitted them on the rear for the passenger - much better than stock ones.
