K&N noise

TC I have some sound deadening tar matting if you want some. Its self adheisive and is the stuff that is used in cars and trucks, Deadens any noise. I will give you a sheet and the shhets are about the size of the bearclaw. Just leave the sheet and claw in the sun so it gets hot so you can mould it to the inside of the claw. You have my number.

Tom if you decide to not use the Holy Claw I would be happy to take her off your hands for Gracie. After I get the her new Kamelon paint done I am thinking of Stage 1 kit to pep her up a bit. I of course have pay pal and have no problem paying you ahead of time to make things go smoother.

Let you know how i go with swapping them over. Can see the benefit of having the holes ... let you know ok Warp.

Mate i can no more post a picture than fly to the moon.. i posess the computer skills of a lowland gorilla ... will see if i can con Catherine into it again. Man i'm so lucky she loves my bike and now after meeting the Owners up at RDU the crew as well. Try and get it done tonight , no promises though.

I hated the cricket chirping. Was going to go back to stock intake. Then I lined the inside of the claw (uncut) with some 1/4" sticky rubber matting I got from a guy at work. Barley hear the crickets now.

It's some type of intake resonance or something to that effect. Mine does it worse when it's hot out, and it only does it at certain throttle openings. Apparently they all do it (with the triple K&N's), it has been the subject of many threads.

Ok so your not much worse then me. The only key board I was ever comfortable with was a vertical one usally Fanuc Custom macro B, Fadal's Macro and Okuma user task two. Much more time as a conventional type of guy
