I put the EB bypass on, having had it on other bikes long before I ever heard of @DEcosse. That said, had I to do it over again, I would either go for his setup, OR, I'd read his most recent post on the keyless setup, and for my Touring, go with his advice to dispense with the bypass altogether.
I have his keyless ignition setup and thoroughly endorse it -- be sure to tell him if you have the McCruise mod, because @DEcosse has a slight addition to the keyless to make it compatible with the cruise control.
@Bob R I really really really am interested in how the trunk setup goes . . . please keep us posted. Ideally you will do this so others may follow your lead, with parts / fabrication sources, etc.
I also have the EB PC8 addition (again, before DeCosse) and also endorse that or the DeCosse PDM (and agree with his being in California is a real advantage).
I have the extra ground cable -- and don't have it on yet.
A pair of Pretech 6-pot calipers are going on the bike as we type.
ANNOUNCEMENT: While the Pretechs are bolt-on compatible, they will NOT/NOT mate with the existing Triumph brake lines.
ANNOUNCEMENT 2: HEL has been thinking about the Rocket for some time, and timing being everything in life, are using my bike for the kit check. I hope to post photos here. Their kit will come as either a three-line or four line make up. For the minimum, three lines, one line will connect to the ABS unit and a divider block, and two lines will connect the divider block to the respective calipers. A four-line kit is for vanity really -- in my case, since I have the two-tone red-black touring model, I chose the HEL transparent red color for my lines, and the fourth line is to replace the line from the master cylinder on the handlebar just to match the color.
