Thank you for the garage tip. The filter on the RamAir is new. I have been checking with the Tune ECU gear. Do you know how to adjust the TPS in the front of the throttle bodies? I changed mine by operator error and perhaps correct set up there could help.
The TPS in the front of the throttle bodies (closest to the fork) is the secondary TPS. It does not control the idle.
Here are the voltage settings for Primary and secondary TPS:
Primary: Closed: .6 volt, tolerance is (+/- .02 volts), Open: .72 volt, tolerance is (+/-.05 volts).
Secondary: .6 volt, tolerance is (+/- .02 volts)
The secondary TPS has a longer cable than the primary TPS, but uses the same connector. Other than the cable length, they are identical. Make sure you do not swap them, they are specific to the application.
The voltage for the Primary TPS is found on the "tests" screen of TuneECU. The first click of "adjust ISCV" shows closed voltage. The second click shows open voltage. Make sure you click "reset adaptations" after making adjustments to the primary TPS.
To see Secondary TPS voltage we look in the “Sensors” column on the left of the “Diagnostics” page. Under the label “Throttle” values for throttle position % and voltage will be displayed with the 2nd line showing readings for the second throttle. There is only one setting (Closed).
I have a copy of the TPS adjustment guid for TuneECU. pm me if you want me to send it.
