I have owned two rockets a 2005 and a 2006 both of the bikes have been plague with transmission problems mostly with second gear but now the trans on the 06 is completely out the stud that sticks out of the transmission just moves freely round and round .... waiting for the shop to get back to me....

That really sucks. I would try to make some kind of joke, (like have you been using the clutch when you shift?) but I remember how I felt when my bike was down. It really sucks. Heart goes out to you, hope it is fixed soon.

More importantly, why after all this time hasn't Triumph resolved these quality control issues?

i talked to the GM at the dealer ship who is doing the work on my bike and he is
going to talk to triumph and see what can be done. i have been having a really
long string of crappy luck maybe this is when it turns around.

i was told they are going to try to pick up my bike on friday.
all i want is out.

Had my tranny problems fixed a year ago...my dealers mechanic really was dictating to the factory re: the parts needed (even if they were not part of the diagnosed problem) he basicly re built the entire unit to safeguard against repeat failure...hope your guy can have that kind of service attitude!!! And yeh,,, Triumph should have addressed this at the assembly line!!!
