I never rains but it pours!!

What sayest the peanut gallery regarding heavy duty deisel oil?
No clutch additives. I hear with stiff springs that won't matter. It is loaded with goodies for anti wear and probably loaded with friction modifiers. That being said I'd use a grade recommended for your specific diesel truck :) oh and burn the rotella crap.

Probably can't get that over here but I will check tomorrow.
I don't know why I haven't mentioned this before but I have fitted a set of T bars. On re fitting the grips etc. it went back together real easy, and I checked clutch lever and cable free play and it appeared ok but, thinking about it, I may have upset something, but again, I'll check again tomorrow when I get back from work.
Thanks to all so far!

If 'twere me - I'd ask the dealer who did the oil change - what oil they used. Other than that - if there is free play - you need to change oil and should probably use some flushing oil first. New Filters naturally.

You must use M/C specified oils without Friction Modifiers. It's the latter that screws up Wet Clutches.

Although as has been pointed out TURBO DIESEL oils are also safe. ime Turbo Diesel Oil will look dirty very quickly. But part of it's chemistry (I am told) is to scrub muck out.

If this fails - Surgery.

Soil fully synthetic. So is that like plastic. Lol

You got fat fingers syndrome. Lol

After your post about the web master I couldn't let it go.

I'm giving it a try and just wanted to run it up the flag pole . . .
Grstitude for the response.
Why your motor is not built nor has Bob's clutch springs in it. Are you having problems with or getting using motorcycle oils ?

Just curious as I tried it and well it just did not seem to have the lubricity feeling as things like mobile 1.

I see Amsoil is making a 15W50 now they cornered me at the OBX bike week event.
