How much time should a mechanic/shop bill to change & balance a rear tire on RIIIR?

Always had my tyres fitted for free .. and used to get tyres at the right price. Get back to you when I have to pay now that I've moved. I can't use the old " f#ckin hell come on ... been buying f#ckin tyres from you pricks for 30+ years" deal sweetener ;)

Man! Has you a$$ healed up from the reem job you got?!?!?
This is worse than in OZ!
Next time buy from Rocky Mountain ATV and take wheels & tires to your local shop!
Rear Excedra Max = $174
Front Avon Cobra = $160
Mount/balance = $100
Total = $434

I hear yeah but $250.00 more won't brake the bank for me knowing it's done right. I live in Harley country where i can get the tires for cost and have them mounted and balanced for a six-pack.. You guys who have owned Triumphs all your life and know people that work on them have know idea how hard it is in some places to find a machanic that will even touch a Triumph. I maintain the Rocket but i don't have the time or set up to rip it down.

My tire shop does it for $25 but I have to pull off the wheel and had it to them.

I take mine to the local tire shop and its 10 buck front or back. A couple dollars more if I leave the told tire with them for disposal. But I bring it home and use it to start the brush pile :)

I agree. That's insane.

Front = Dunlop D404 $128
Rear = Riken Raptor ZR $90
Mounting = $40

Total $258.

Extend that out over 3 years. 3 fronts, 1 rear. $554.

Works for me and my riding style.

do you tell them to remove final drive and grease the rear end of the drive shaft. this is what needs to be done . not just the splines on the rear wheel.
