Not that I advocate street racing, but I'm curious what have you run your bike up against and what was the result?

I've only run a Suzuki M109 from a roll at 55 and easily pulled away. Don't know how it would go from a stop.[/QUOTE

Ive raced all the sportbikes and and cruisers out there with my 2012 250 HP CARPENTER ROADSTER I beat everything so far KTM 1290 SUPERDUKE, ZX14s, BMW 1000rrs,GSXR 1000s ,BUSAs, the closest race was a TURBO BUSA only beat him by 2 bikes He should have passed me as he claimed he had 350 HP With the 09 CLASSIC I beat the BMW 1600 GT the older VMAX ,V rods , M109s ,all the HDS even the modified ones with S&S engines and 120 R race engines Victorys, the new Honda Valks , The sportsbikes are impossible to launch from a stop and the Rockets are great at stoplights Its great fun to passing the big sportsbikes on the top end as they top out at 186 MPH and the modded Rocket just keeps going BUT you need our special wide open straight roadway for those thrills

I fail to recall and such occurrence @CanberraR3 . Everybody knows that I am a very conscientious, conservative disciplined rider. Racing or hoping simply aren't in my DNA.

To date I dont recall any of my mates on R3's ever doing anything outside the rules, laws and regulations. I do think at one stage one of us may have inadvertently been caught dribbling beyond the prescribed speed limit but rolling down a hill shouldn't count.

Everything I do and any manner in which I ride I consider quite safe and harmless. Conversely, I have seen some blokes on other bikes being silly and taking unnecessary risks. I think we should take a moment to bow our heads and pray for these people, that they be blessed with wisdom, patience and a relaxed mind.

Add a recent kill to the list

Big Turbo Toyota MR2 from a 50 mph roll on the freeway. I'm cruising along at 50, see a white car come up behind me hauling ass, so drop to 3rd and punch it. MR2 noses ahead about 1 length as I make up the big speed difference he had already, and reel him in before the end of 3rd, when I hear the turbo really spool up, now I know hes trying, so I keep turned to the stop through 3rd and pull another bit, go for fourth and rip it back open. Run it about 75% to redline in 4th (no idea what speed that is, but its fairly quick), and was just making more and more space between us

Bonus points, his girl was in the car with him lulz.

I slow back to 50, let him pass and wave, at which point he punches it and takes off lol.

PS: What speed is 5k in 4th gear anyways?!
