I lost an EZ Pass Transponder this morning -- I was either riding too fast (no way :whitstling:) or the interstate was a bit bumpy -- in any case -- the heavy-duty hook-n-loop fasteners let go, and I watched (while still making sure I stayed in lane) as the little white (they call it 'Pearl') box bounced off the dash and to the side of the forks, and down on the pavement as I saw pieces fly in the rear view mirror.

Now mind you, this is not an issue on the Rocket -- why you ask ?

I installed the little leather change purse option on the tank when I first purchased the bike and they still had accessories in stock.

No, this transponder was on the windshield of my Honda CTX700D and . . . seeking Wisdom of the List.:notworthy:

Not sure exactly what you are referring to, but I'm assuming that you are talking about a device that allows you to bypass the change booth on a tollway? If so, I don't even carry mine anymore. Down here they take a picture if you run the toll plaza and your device doesn't register with their system then the system looks up your account based on your plate number and the toll is charged to your account. If you don't have an account they send you an invoice in the mail...plus a $25.00 handling fee otherwise known as a ticket.

Yeah, we're not that sophisticated up here.

I was driving with my family to the Florida Keys (hey, about that trip !!) several years ago, and went on a bypass around Miami, and was wondering what they do about all the tourists.

A few weeks later I received a bill in the mail that had the toll, plus a 50 cent "convenience fee".

Still must have the transponder up here. It's a conspiracy of the eastern seaboard. The transponders are good in a bunch of states east of the Mississippi.

I have a small roll bag on the front of both my Triumph and Hardley. Keep the transponder in there along with my registration, ear plugs, tire kit, air gauge and a .50 cal (no, just kidding).

Glue it to the back of your helmet with Araldite 2 part resin. It could even save your soul one day if you are unfortunate enough to visit the Pearly Gates while riding or for the classicists amongst us, with paying Charon the ferryman at the river Acheron to guide you over that and three more rivers to cross before the final Styx on the way to Hades. Sounds a lot like a multi toll journey from the countryside to a major metropolis now and I presume they have all upgraded from coins by now too!;):p:D:unsure:

By the way that Charon character sounds a lot like our Art ;):(:D:roll::roll::roll:

I use a free (lightweight) beer huggie ( to thin to keep my beer cold) slide the easy pass into it, fold it over and use two pieces of hook and loop to attach it to the handle bar clamp.
@Joesmoe easy pass will add it to your bill, if you are in the system, the account in your name and bike is registered in the same name, or if the tag is in their system. FYI you do not have to pay the fine in New Jersey just pay the toll and it all goes away! State law. But this may only apply to NJ residents not sure about other states.
