Home made vaccum lines?

Something about, vacuum (sucking?) and rainbow colors, however I just can't put it altogether, I must be slipping in my old age

Since vacuum is the measurement of how much of nothing you have, the length shouldn't be critical

I have a "unit" at home that pulls a vacuum, & she agrees that the length is not critical........ I think thats why the "unit" still works

Lupe do you emission testing in your state? if not just remove all the vacuum hoses and plug the throttle body openings

Doesnt the map sensor need them ?

i'd get hoses the same length and internal diameter as the stock ones. if you had longer hoses, that's more volume to draw the air out of to obtain the same level of vacuum which will upset readings for throttle balancing and MAP readings to ECU. but you'd need to be significantly longer though, so just to be on the safe side
