Has anyone had any experience running a CT on a Rocket 3 with a Hitch Doc hitch installed on it? I have an 05 R3 Standard with the Hitch Doc. Thinking about going to the dark side . . . tired of putting a $300.00 Metzeler on two to three times a year. Any help would be greatly appreciated!:)

I have a Classic tow hitch and run a 245/55/16 CT

Oh I forgot mention that pic was 15,000 happy kilometres ago when I put the darkside on, the Trailer (a Camper actually) you see in the background ends up weighing around the 990pound when fully loaded up for a trip and 6,000km's of the 15,000 were towing the trailer and "The Mistress" didnt even know it was there.
The camper when open give a 6ft 3inch by 4ft bed plus a 6ft 3inch hard floor then on one side the anexe 12ft by 6ft and a 10ft awning on the other side. 12dc power via 2 12volt deepcycle gel batterys connect to solarpannel, Gas and led lighting, gas cooking, gas/12/240 fridge /freezer oh and little gas heater for the missus (an sometimes me) 5 star camping at its best:cool:

Hey Atomsplitter that a sweet looking Hitch (I wish I had gotten my Classic Ind Tow Hitch in chrome finnish really) is it that made from hollow tube or solid and what weight is it rated at? The reason I ask is it appears the drawing weight is taken on the rear footpeg mounts, I don't know if I would like to put my overweight trailer on footpeg mounting bolts, or is it actually mounted to the sub-frame behind the pillion footpeg.
Please understand I am not having a shot at the Hitch, just asking cos the hitch sure looks the goods and I would consider shipping one over here if strong enought:cool:
