Dam, I keep forgetting that some folks live in the dry. Still we get to ride in warm weather on 2 days in the year, & they are very special, but we have become very good at wet weather riding.
After fitting the EB kit I straightend the flimsy tin lens locator and now the beams seem to be in a different spot on the road.. I checked the fitting and both lenses appear to be in position lens is equal and Top is at the Top.
Did triumph give us a swivel adjuster for the Twin H/L setup?
I certainly am close to Bill Smiths, he is my local dealer only 12 miles distance from home. I seem to be there an awful lot, not with faults all the time but I like to call in for a chat & a coffee. Trouble is I keep finding bikes that I like, ended up with a Kwaka ZZR1400 in October. At least it's handy for servicing & fixing. When did you get your bike,I recognise it being pictured outside the doors at Bill's place. When I bought mine Sep.09, they had 2 new ones in, one blue & one burgundy, I got the blue one & the other ended up back for sale about 6 months ago, My reg No. is DG59MDX if yours is close to this then you've got the counterpart one.

I thought those rings would only fit in one position, they have 2 locating nibs on the top which fit into slots in the bowl. Yes I have adjusted my beam settings a long time ago, while they can be adjusted independently in the horizontal plane, they can only be adjusted vertically as a joint unit, sensible really.
I would be surprised if it had not had the mod. Have a look at the thread in this section called "single relay mod"post No14. heres a copy. "A point to consider Captain but the single relay mod only puts the relay one component (dip switch) sooner in the loom than the EB kit so cant see how it would be any different. Also it is very similar to the Triumph update kit they are fitting to earlier Roadsters."
Not had any problems as yet.
Don't worry about it if not confident you can always fit the mod.

Yes correct they are located in the shell as they should be.. but some idiot didn't locate them previously and they were both distorted, I tidied them up and I just need to realign them but need to remove the screen to see the adjusters. Thanx.
My Roadster is plated 2011 first registered november 2010 I asked the service manager at team moto Springwood. He looked it up and said mine had been recalled for relay mod. Had it done with 9000k service. Triumph is a bit slack there they should notify every new bike owner if there is a recall. Thats the one area were Harley is better. I had 2 recalls on my 1990 Softtail they sent letters out both times and when I didn't get the second one done quick enough they sent more letters saying my rego would be cancelled if I didn't hurry up. As it was to replace posative power lead.
Bruce, did the dealer say exactly what the relay mod achieves. I have 12/2010 build Roadster but complianced 1/11, I am waitng for the dealer to get the parts to do the relay upgrade.
