I reckon ours would not tolerate that mounting without extra bracketing.

Being a Go-Pro novice and wishing to have an alternate to my helmet mount,
I just bought this mount. Have yet to try it out though . . .
Anyone have experience with it?

I had one like this. It is the one that broke sitting at the gas station @ Sisters 2016. The little fingers that go over the ball and the plastic threaded collar broke. Had I been on the move, the camera would have been gone... not like it worked again after hitting the ground anyway.

Spend the money and buy a RAM Mount
