Coming down Roan Mountain (TN) today about 9 a.m. I saw one cross ahead and slowed down looking for more. Just when I thought it was clear another one popped up from a steep embankment on the right. Best seen larger by clicking on the Watch on YouTube link.

I've decided to just hold straight and slow down, if possible. Usually, it's like this without time.
I think trying to swerve may just increase your odds, as they sometimes reverse direction.

Loved the truck rolling by slowly. You can just hear them saying, "honey, I think he just musta just rolled over a pig" and then kept on going....

I have rolled off some "pigs" in my younger days but it never hurt as much as this incident ;-)
