harley hunting club

I think some folks take the Harley bashing as an insult, when in reality, it's nothing but playful banter similar to the "which color is fastest" back and forth we do on this site. I used to drive a Chevy pickup with a Beavis and Butthead peeing on a Ford emblem sticker on the back window. It's just smack talking and I would drive a Ford without thinking twice about it. Most of my friends drive HDs and give me the business every time we ride together to which I gladly reciprocate. I sometimes wear an old pair of Harley boots just so the Harley guys will speak up first and then i tell them i ride with the boots because my wife wont let me bring them in the house because they track oil everywhere. I would love to have a patch to wear in front of them and of course, so would they. To be honest, I would love to have a Fat Bob just because they look cool, but it would just be a second bike. I will always ride my Rocket HRV as my main bike. Lighten up a bit. It's all in good fun.

Yeah, i hate harleys,, here is mine
I agree with DRMD, is just a playful thing, just like some rocket captains making fun of my spyder

And my harley did this when she saw the rocket

Anyone who has a spyder in there stable is a fake Oh wait I got one too

I have had Harley just sold my 09 ultra in Feb I dont like to way they ride or the power but do like the looks of a lot of them and LOVE to give my buddies crap as they love to do the same to me it's all in good fun I mine this is going to get me stoned by some but I really like the gold wing yes its a car with two wheels but has power and comfort and it can be pushed a lot harder than most would think would I like to have a patch ya but to mess with guys not to start a fight

Oh and the boots I wear a Harley the wife got them for me 3 years ago and dont need replaced yet so I get crap for that as well

yea I can relate to the "They ain't wore out, so why replace them" thing.
My chaps say harley right down the leg of them.
it's raised letters in the leather itself.
all my friends on harleys give me crap about it,
but I tell them that was the only thing worth keeping when I "upgraded"..
they're still on harleys, but they KNOW which bike has a racing background,
and which bike dominates anytime we ride.
Not that I show off much, but they do know,
and even though they still talk smack,
I'll reciprocate by saying something like,
nice kids bike, or, my wife rides a bigger bike than that, or,
do they come in adult sizes, or how about this one, my favorite,
harley's a nice starter bike, but I finally grew up...
It's all in good fun, and a hunting club patch would be as well,
and taken as such by all the guys I know and ride with..
JM2CW,

As long as you can participate in an intelligent conversation without eventually collapsing into false bravado and inuendo I don't care what ya ride. Just don't get your feelings hurt because your view of my brake light is all you will ever see which applies to about 85% of HD owners. Thank God my bestest friends went Victory and I thinks I like them V Twins better. Shame we can't use Steve McQueens likeness on a patch. I don't hunt em, I avoid them by staying in motion.

Now, that's the spirit!

Besides, legend has it that Harley riders have all those skulls painted on their bikes in memory of all those before them who snapped their necks trying to keep their eyes on the Triumph that blew past them...

Huntin Harleys with a Rocket has to be a lot like shootin a sleeping elk. Ain't much to the hunt and not very satisfying for one's primal urges. Now sneakin up on a Busa or Ducati when they least expect the raw thunderous roar of 2300 cc's being unleashed like the hounds of hell upon them would cause them to wither like flowers in the Mojave. How about a Rocket III Snipers patch hahahaha. Scaring the crap out of the 20 something crowd is a dish best served warm

A well intentioned neighbor was telling me how Lake Lure was a biker haven until they ran the rowdy and loud crowd out. I told him Rocket riders by and large do not fall into that category and I ride there frequently and have no issues with the constables.
