I've seen that clip before and can't for the life of me understand how it could have happened. A presumably trained police officer on a presumably well maintained bike in obviously perfect riding conditions. A level of incompetence that beggars belief.

Experienced a similar thing many years ago on a K2 Honda as a cop. But on a right hand bend at 140kph on my way to escort a funeral at Queanbeyan. Hit a dip and the rear came up off the road. Sphincter tightening stuff but entirely my fault. Luckily I rode it out. May have had something to do with the fairly basic suspension of the day, and as TC suggested, showing off.
I think I titled this thread wrong, but it's what came to mind at the time. I've been to many a rodeo and this fella didn't make it anywhrere near 8 seconds.
