I went for a ride the other day and when I got back the GPS unit said I went 150 miles and the odometer said that I went 140 miles. I reset them at the same time when I filled up with gas. Whats up with that!!! The speedometers on both units are spot on. Can you shed any light on this one?

I had the same issue with my other bikes (Honda, Yamaha). Exact same ride route. Two bikes start at zero miles, at the end, they're not even close.

My thoughts: if the speedo is off by a few percent, perhaps the odo is as well.
Funny thing, I've asked Harley owners and have never heard of such an issue with those bikes.

Go figure.

if you have a tuneboy and adjusted the speedo then your odometer is now off.
If you went to the dark side you could have a different tire diameter which will again throw them off.
