Im a convert, or possibly a convict, for crossing back into the light. I put 18k on a fatty but found the front, had gone to $h1t in a hurry. Im trying a set of Cobras though Ive yet to put a mile on them. Rear bearings replacement has me grounded. I shopped around for a couple days before I found a best price on a pair of Avons. No, I dont recall the source.
My going back to a MC tyre from a Zeon 2XS will mean far less exercise on my forearms.

I have Cobras front and back and absolutely love them. You'll notice less grip in a sraight line in the wet but they really hang on round corners. In the dry I can't imagine needing anything more - scrape frequently and hard. Unless someone comes out with some type of hybrid tyre I'll be sticking with them. Have around 8000 km on the front and still got plenty left. Rear only has about 2000km on it but showing no wear at all - and I use all the treat width and give it plenty. Previous Metz was riped to bits in very short time with me "trying" out the performance mods.
