Flyscreen big enough?

Hello all,
Just weighing the options for a windscreen. I just want some relief for the wind pressure in the chest area and in the bicep area. Long rides are a bit tiring. From the looks of the Flyscreen it should work for the chest but does it channel the wind around the upper arms. I like the looks of the Flyscreen AND it's cheaper.

I'm 6'2 and actually added 2inch spacers between the screen and the mounting plate. Helped alot. Stll have to where a full face helmet but I can live with it for a 400 mile day ride...

I havent noticed any stain on the shoulders

Went ahead and got the Flyscreen. I don't feel like a human parachute now. I thought it would block a little more air but it's not bad. It does make the wind around the helmet faster and louder. (I have a modular) But it is also easier to turn my head and check the blind spot without the wind whipping my head around.

I didn't want to get a clear windscreen because it diffuses the lights at night and make it hard to see deer. Plus driving into the setting sun causes the same effect during the daylight hours.

Mike, screens should be set up to look over not through, that's the trick then you don't get those problems.... I love the flyscreen but I am going to invest in a windvest! :twisted:

Just installed my 16" tinted windvest last night. I couldn't be happier with it, quality craftsmanship and it works like a charm. Made some 90mph runs without the least bit of buffeting or chest pressure

I find that the airfoil shape of my riding gloves really provide lift, reducing arm pressure and strain during long high speed rides. Coupled with the 14" Windvest, very little pressure up to about 110.





Also reduce sabre cuts in cavalry confrontations.

I can get away with a half helmet, but depends on the speeds and wind. I want the thing a bit bigger though....

of course I once rode in a full bunker suit gloves and helmet to a fire once
