well yes you could as you still use the same mounting bolt for the shifter and I thought about doing that if I didn't like the toe heal shifter it would just be a matter adjusting the angle of the lever to suit you, on the brake side the pedal that came in my kit is almost identical to the original, are you buying the floorboard kit cos the pedal and lever come with it as well as the brake line but I did as good ol "Helfire RIP" suggested and straightened mine out so I did not even have to bleed the rear brakes

boards

allright, yes it is a kit and i dont like the heel toe shifter. i thought it would fit but reading other posts, others changed the shifters and brake pedal as well.do you think with the floor boards i will be able to move my feet more foward when cruising on freeways, even with the stock shifter and brake pedal.i thnk so,just move foot foward around pedal and shifter.thanks hanso:cool: hey what about the kuryakyn iso wings made for the rocket

yeah I just slide my heals all the way to the front and rest the balls of my feet on the highway pegs (on the crash bars) I had there before I put the boards on:D

have you seen the iso wings, should be more comfortable but not more foward, cheers hanso
I looked at them bought the Dually's didn't like them that much, best thing I have done is buy the Triumph Classic Floor board Kit:cool:

I am still looking for a stock set of front pegs, I have boards now and have everthing I need to switch over to pegs BUT the pegs. If you are going the other way, maybe you want to sell yours???

I have an extra set of stock pegs for the '05 standard if those would work. I tried to keep the original brake pedal when I switched to the triumph floorboard kit and the angle of the board prevents that. The shifter is adjustable but the brake lever is not without a cut/weld to alter the angle on the stock lever. Again that's on an '05 standard and triumph floorboard kit.
