Some things take time. Some things take a protracted amount of time. Patience is a virtue and when you get old (like I am), sometimes that virtue can wear a bit thin....

I've been waiting over 6 months for my Blackrock Leather Care distributorship and products to be confirmed and arrive. The Blackrock folks experienced a death in their family....The owner of the company died suddenly from a brain tumor and production got a bit dicey. I was assured by the owners daughter that Blackrock Leather Care would continue on and things would get back to normalcy in time.,,,Good thing. I ran out of the product myself....getting desperate.

Amy and I have been using Blackrock on our Draft Horse show harness (my wife raises and shows Percheron Draft Horses). I've always used their product on my leather goods, jackets, boots and of course my Rocket 3 Panniers, but alas! I ran out too.

This morning, the UPS truck rolled in, the back doors opened and my long awaited shipment of Blackrock leather Care Products was unloaded.

To that end, I'll be bringing a case of Blackrock to Eureka Springs this week...

I'm offering single 4oz jars of Leather-N-Rich as well as complete cases of 12 4oz jars, shipped worldwide. The product will be listed on the Flipmeisters Specialty Products website in the coming weeks.

A single jar will go a long way and a case will last some time. This stuff beats, hands down, any leather conditioner you have ever used. I know I've said that before and had nothing but promises but now I have the stuff in hand. It waterproofs (just the ticket for ES), seals the leather and imparts a nice sheen plus it's easy to apply with just your fingers, rub it into the leather and wipe with a soft cloth. It removes dirt and road crud and leaves a nice supple surface.

I've had a lot of inquires from Captains around the world and now it's here.

In keeping with my philosophy of 'Bling for less';

A single 4oz jar of Leather-N-Rich...$5.25 USD, up to 11 Jars plus shipping.
Case quantity 12 (4oz) jars of Leather-N-Rich...$60.00 USD plus shipping. You save $3.00 USD on case quantity.

As always, I accept Pay-Pal as well as personal checks (US Residents only)

Again, the Leather-N-Rich will be listed on the Website in the near future.

I'll have the product with me in ES. At that time, I will only offer single jars as there is a space limitation (in the Panniers).

Does this product have any similar ingredient to mink oil?

As far as I can ascertain, no. The formula is patented and a family secret. Thast's what I was worried about. When the owner suddenly passed, I figured that was the end of the line. The family is very secretive about the ingredients. The product looks like tan colored yogurt and basically is odorless or should I say, has no solvent smell. I like it beacuse it leaves no residue like mink oil. A long time ago, before I found out about this stuff, I used Mink oil (Smiling Mink) on my snowmobile boots and when they got wet and dried, I got t he salt stains. This product does not leave stains after the leather dries out from being wet.

It was a job tracking this stuff down. They don't advertise so I had to back track them by calling the company that supplies the containers and getting contact information that way. Sort of a back door approach, but, like I said, they aren't main stream.

I'll have a case in my Panniers so you can try it out. It don't look like, smell like or feel like anything you have ever used before. I'm so sure you will be more than satisified with the product that if you aren't I'll give you your money back and you can keep what's left.

Most everyone is conditioning leather with either Lexol or Mink Oil or a tallow based or solvent based conditioner which this product isn't.

I Dave McAulay (scot in exile) will under protest allow Flip to show everyone how good the product is by applying to my Corbin seat.:D

Dave....

You should know by now that if I say it's good, it's good. It's like when I say I'm homely, you know I'm homely...Just ask Britman...

I'll do your seat.

I'll be rolling out just after noon tomorow, leaky fork and all. It dripped a small puddle in the garage....reminds me of a Hardley marking it's spot.

Ordered a set of Progressive springs today. Might as well re-spring it as it has to come completely down anyway, The whole front end is coming off.
