Flipmeisters Blackrock Leather Care-Arrived

As far as I can ascertain, no...Most everyone is conditioning leather with either Lexol or Mink Oil or a tallow based or solvent based conditioner which this product isn't.
There is a process in making leather. It's basically taking the fats (oil) out. Why put mink or other fats back into leather to preserve it. Sounds like something rotten in Washington.

I Dave McAulay (scot in exile) will under protest allow Flip to show everyone how good the product is by applying to my Corbin seat.:D
Watch out that the seat waxing isn't with a batch of ivy.

Ya want me to look like Dr. Hook and the medicine company going down the road eh? Will be rolling out of here about 2 or so....probably in a rainsuit.
Everyone be careful, have fun, and return safely.

Boot Leather.

I have some 30+ years of experience in buying and wearing custom built leather work boots from a Company in Spokane WA dba White's Boot Company. White's do not recommend using any animal fat type oil on real leather because it damages the leather by causing it to harden and crack at flex points. White's asked me specifically not to use Mink Oil when I bought my first pair of boots even though I had used Mink Oil for many years on boots that would only last a couple of seasons.
I have used a product White's recommended for boot leather called Picard's Oil. It has served me well for years as my newest pair of boots are about 10 years old now (Elk Hide) and my oldest over 30 years. The uppers and lowers look great even though they have seen more sets of soles and heels than I can remember.
Any product that works that well should be considered as being some of the best on the market...IMHO....SB

Clarification

Perhaps I should have also stated with regard to the previous post that I was simply confirming that "leather experts" would agree that we should not use Mink Oil on leather product of high quality.
Until I read these posts, I had never heard of Black Rock Conditioner but did look it up on the net. Appears to be a product that has had its fair share of exposure to consumer needs over the years. Thanks Flip for posting the availability of the product from an unimpeachable source.....:D...SB.
