Well, got up about 4:00 am because I couldn't stop thinking about a rear tail bag mount. I just wanted to bring a long some refreshments, and other things on my maiden ride. I made a rack for an old tail bag I had. But I don't think it will be a long term thing. I made some blanking plates for the backrest out of some matte finish carbon fiber I had. Didn't feel like putting down $250 for triumph ones

That's a bigger bag. Why have you got the pillion pegs down when you don't have a pillion seat anymore?
Believe it or not, I hang my feet there sometimes. I have some Amazon foot pegs on order. I'm gonna mount them in the mid peg position. It will help me decide if I want the whole mid peg kit. Or if just resting my feet there will be enough. I never had a bike with forward controls. I put the side stand down on the highway at 80 mph and killed the engine. LOL. muscle memory trying to put my feet where they usually go....I have a 7 jurock windshield on order. Maybe then I won't have to keep my feet back to counter act the wind

Wow, you must be a lot more flexible than than I am. No way in the world would I be able to get my hoofs back onto those.

Now the idea of a mid peg in conjunction with the forward pegs interests me, just 1, the left, so I can put the left foot on it while I swing my right leg over. As mentioned, flexibility isn't my strong suit.
