Finally got to pick up my bike

Made it to Carpenter Racing. Got to meet Bob Carpenter. Great guy, really friendly.
And a special thanks to @TriumphPhil for the ride from the airport to the shop.

So far I've gone 216 miles to Front Royal, VA. In the morning I'll be riding Skyline Dr, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

This southern boy is used to warm weather so I brought some extra winter gear in case it got too cold

It does come up easier than before. And now it leaves the ground in 2nd and 3rd, but not very high.

A new back tire is already waiting at home
