Faster Idle speed when warmed up 1500

If your idle starts acting eratic again,
up to around 3000 or better, then down to 800-1200,
change out that primary TPS.
Mine hasn't had a hicup since the "new" TPS was installed.

Mine did that early in the riding season this year...dealer took care of it quickly with an updated tune and some other adjustment. It probably is that simple of a fix.

I had this sort of issue intermittently. Turned out a rubber o-ring for the TPS was starting to fail. It would cause the throttle to get stuck just a bit and the idle would go high when the computer would set a new idle. Everything always tested fine and worked fine when the dealer did a minor adjustment. Then some random amount of miles later it would reappear.

Dealer replaced o-ring, issue has not reappeared.

My bike has learn't a new trick and any advice would be great

once warm if If I travel any distance on a set speed say the freeway for a few minutes when I go to break for traffic the bike wants to keep going and if I pull the clutch the bike wants to idle at 1500+rpm.

Also happens if I blip the throttle whilst slowing down , if I turn the bike off then restart it goes back to around 500 rpm(for a while anyway)

Any pointers on where I should start looking
