How do you guys feel about your engine vibration? My touring is very harsh as it approaches 3000 rpm so much so I tend to cruise at lower revs where it seems happier just wondering if I have a bad one ?

Your question is hard to answer as I suspect most engine have some vibrations. The you have to look at the other things that might cause vibrations. Things like out of balanced wheels bad wheel bearings are a couple that comes to mind, Usually I tell everyone to first check the low tension leads to the coils as a erratic firing set of plugs will make the beat vibrate. Clean them and re-crimp the connectors so they are snug when you put them on the spade terminals. You would not believe how much better the bike runs when she is firing consistently in all cylinders.

Yep did that with the Tripp tune, will take a look at the coils though thanks for that tip, no misfiring or decel popping. Unfortunately drove a gold wing last night man now that is a motor

I had annoying engine vibration from the start on my R3R , since doing intake and exhaust upgrades over time it's hardly there any more , be interesting to see how it turns out once i can afford a Dyno tune.
