Emgo's vs K&N's

Will do that.

Are those EMGO standard oils filters OK?
Don't know dont care I only put Quality Full Syn ($80 for 4 litres) Oil, K&N Oil Filters on and in my $24,000 investment, no second rate stuff for my "Mistress":)

excuse my ignorance but I have never heard of either brands or are you just **** talking again Scott:D

I almost feel daft asking this, but manual states API SH (or higher), but I've been told not to use higher than SJ due to a drop in levels of useful oil components to reduce emissions/protect engine or something like that. Is that true, or can I just go ahead and use SL for example, as there are more options then.

Just want a second on that one.:)

Mate as far as I am concerned the most important thing to look for is that it meets JASO MA it is bike specific oil grading and an assurance that there is no clutch damaging anti-friction additives
