Dynojet PC5

The website is the only place that says that. If you call them or email, they suggest the PCIII for the 09. I got the impression that they listed it that way to sell PCV's and then got their tit in a wringer when it wasn't ready.
Contact them to verify prior to pulling the trigger.

I wouldn't believe a thing they say. At least the web site is in writing.

All the PCIII does is read a voltage from the ECU and possibly modify it. If it can't input the voltages from 2009 or 2010 ECU's, it will become apparent pretty quickly.

The way it was explained to me was Dynojet stopped developing the PCIII for the '09 and newer Rockets. Doesn't mean it won't work though. The PCV was originally listed just for the '09's and up, but it should work on the older models because nothing has changed, it's just Dynojet didn't test it on the earlier models.

Having no knowledge of any re-mapping devices, is it worth looking at "Tuneboy", I've looked at the website & I can honestly say "I don't understand it, so would I be heading for trouble or is it self evident once you have it ?

So I now have the "TuneECU" & I have 3 maps downloaded, the one I need to use is 20219 which is for TORS exhausts with cat box removed but what is the difference between this & TORS with no cat ?. I guess at this point I need to buy the cable to connect my PC to the ECU & is it then a simple task of selecting the required map & letting the programme do it's thing or do I need a crash degree course in engine tuning. BTW does this map (20219) stop the decel popping?. WOW am I in too deep hear? feel like I'm drowning, about to make a major F**** up & have to call in the Triumph guys.

They both refer to having no cat bax and using the TORS pipes. Give yourself a chance with the tune ecu its much like Master software Tune Boy!!!! It will take you a little time and effort but you will learn how and then its a snap. The only real difference is the Tune Boy software allows you greater access to changing parameters then Tune ECU does. Who knows this could be a stepping stone to Tune Boy for you. Just give yourself some time and don't get frustrated most mistakes are made that way and trying to be faster then the software allows.

You guys are throwing darts at a board. Guessing and testing someone else's tune takes time, a trained ear (and ass) and it could still be off. The only way to get dialed in is to dyno the thing with a CO sniffer jammed in the tail pipe.
If you know the ropes, have the tools and access to a dyno, fine ... if not then why not just plug in a box (Power Commander) and let a dyno tech tune it? Sure there are other things like removing the secondaries rather than just turning them off (six little screws), and altering the timing to remove the power reduction in low gears takes a GiPro ... but at least you know the air/fuel mix is on the money.
I'm certainly enjoying the heck out of mine ... and it was tuned in a day, No Worries.

20219 is for cat removed (bypass) for the classic. This is what you have, right?

Do you have the cable? If so, can you connect it to the ECU?

If so, load the 20219 into the TuneECU program, go to the 2nd throttle table on the left then highlight rows with same value, and arrow up the little doodad on the lower right of the table to get all the values to 100%. Save the table on the computer, then download it to the bike. All you've done is open the secondaries. This will not relieve popping on decel.

OK Doug, yet to buy the cable, but done the 2nd throttle thing on PC only of course, but for clarification it semsto me that when I upload this map to the ECU will it give it the map for my decat system with the 2nd's kept open, or from your description will it be 2nd's only.
