Dynojet PC5

OK.now how about you get out there and test it for us,its only snow.

Yes Peter I am curious also as they only have Roaster and Touring particular maps. Plus we need to have an expanded map to at least 9000 rpms.

Pig9r
1.) may it warm up so you can give a report
2.) may it not give you any grief either

Thanks.

Dynojet said I would be able to load my PCIII map into the PCV. I think I am just going to run a zero map and set the a/f ratios and see what happens.

Yes you can tune without a dyno.

I would not have triumph download that tune either way because it has the secondaries closing a lot more than the base stock tune. So really you will be losing performance with the off road tune.

so if you have the tors, you should keep the stock tune and get a pc5 or even a pc3 and basically add fuel? (assuming u go the power commander route)

power commander website says the pc5 is still under development. whats up with that? website not up to date?

edit....i see you have an 06. for the new model it says still in development.

I would use TuneEcu and load a tune for your set up. If the only change you have made is adding TORs, you should be OK with the base stock tune. Remove the cat or change the intake, then I would go the TuneEcu route. If you want to do a dyno tune, then PCIII or PCV would be the way to go. Or if you could borrow one do a dyno tune, then load the PCIII map into the TuneEcu tune you are using, then load that to the bike.

Pc v

talked to More Power Racing, where I have purchased all of my PC's. They say that my PC V for my '10 Roadster has been shipped. There are no maps yet available from Dynojet for the setup that i have. Jardines w/triple K&Ns. Stock ECU is out as fat as it can go but obviously still very lean. Been off the site for awhile so am looking for a suitable MAP. Love the new bike. still have an extra one however. Good to be back!

xhdskip, regarding your post at the start of this thread, do you think the dobeck will work with gripro atre and secondairies removed, ( 06 R3 stock pipes and filter w/ cat eliminator )???

Pcv and dyno

OK THEN
My bike is booked in at powerhouse dynotuning on the goldcoast for november 25th
to have the powercomander v installed and put on the dyno to be dialled in
they said they have done quite a few rockets and the results wher pretty good

i will post the results when done they said i could hang around and take pics /footage if i wanted to so i will :D

she should pur like a kitten then with Sams headers staintune pipes and collector tripple K&N filters gipro/atre secondarys removed.

just a question for those of you with more knowledge than i
Do i need to set the gipro to standard when being dynod or is it fine to leave it on 3?
or wont it matter either way to the proceedings? sorry for the stupid question but im still only partial to understanding how the gipro works
regards Mitch:cool:
