Dynojet PC5

OK Doug, yet to buy the cable, but done the 2nd throttle thing on PC only of course, but for clarification it semsto me that when I upload this map to the ECU will it give it the map for my decat system with the 2nd's kept open, or from your description will it be 2nd's only.

It will be 20219 but with the 2ndaries 100% open. It's the TOR/cat bypass tune with secondaries 100% open

There's also a thread on this site:

Ask Tom-Hamburg for this tune: 20050DynoFinalMap_TOR_CatBypass_Decel.hex

This is a custom tune for TORs/cat bypass with some fiddling to reduce decel popping. For this, you need to uncheck the O2 sensor option in TuneECU, then download. Also, fix the speed, and put the speed limit to 300 mph.

Thanks all you guys for posting help on this, I sure wish one of you was around to show me what can be done, but there must be someone close by here in UK that is familiar with doing this that I can call on for help. That's an S.O.S. going out to all northern England captains It's not fear just an easy way to learn (others mistakes) I assume at this point that if I cock it up then I can simply upload the existing map stored in the ECU & return to normal. Think I've answered my own question now but does anyone know what the parameters F1-3, L1-3, &I1-4 are, probably don't need to know but just interested. At first I thought cylinders 1-3 but then I saw the I parameters & my bike has only 3 pistons.:)

PCV for 09 rocket

I just orderd the PCV for my 09 rocket and was emailed back and told the would be ready late jan early feb 2011
regards Mitch

Guys have been getting those emails since the first of the year ... always ready in a couple months.

Picked my PCV and the autotune up at my dealer today. I haven't done anything with it yet except opening it up and checking to make sure there it really is for the Rocket. Sure enough there are detailed directions for the Rocket. The PCV itself is very small, about 1/3 of the size of the PCIII. Hopefully it will work with Rockets other than the 09 and 10.

Now I just need to weather to warm up and snow to melt. I also have Eastern Beaver headlight relays to hook up.

in light of this, if we get the TORS exhaust should we not have triumph download the TORS tune and use a PCV instead?
can you tune the bike without a dyno?

Yes you can tune without a dyno.

I would not have triumph download that tune either way because it has the secondaries closing a lot more than the base stock tune. So really you will be losing performance with the off road tune.
